Fellowships

Graduate students can receive fellowships in a number of ways:

1. They can be nominated by their program for a Graduate School Recruitment Fellowship.

2. They can apply for external fellowships through government agencies and private foundations.

  1. Federal and Foundation Fellowship and Awards listed by month in which application has been historically due.  See caveat below.
  2. Major Federal Fellowship Awards.
  3. Major Fellowship Awards which do not require U.S. citizenship see caveat below.

3. They can be recognized by their home government and be awarded a government fellowship.
