Congratulations on your acceptance!

Please follow the checklist on the left for instructions for students who plan to attend classes at University Center or CU-ICAR.

The New Graduate Student Orientation will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Littlejohn Coliseum from 1-4 PM. All new graduate students are asked to attend. However, off-campus, distance education and part-time students are welcomed to attend this orientation but are not required to do so. To learn more, click here.

Official transcripts are only required of those applicants who are offered admission. Therefore, upon receiving official notice of acceptance to the Graduate School, you should request official transcripts from the institutions where you completed your previous academic work. Transcripts are considered official only if they are received by the Graduate Admissions Office in a sealed university envelope.


Domestic and Permanent Resident Applicants

In order to ensure that your official transcripts are matched up properly with your application, it is required to APPLY first and then following notification of acceptance request your transcripts from your previous academic work.

  • Following notification of acceptance, one (1) official transcript of your academic work from each previously attended institution must be mailed directly to our office
  • Clemson Students do not need to request transcripts
  • Graduate Admissions will NOT accept faxed copies of any transcripts as official even if faxed directly from the educational institution

International Applicants

Applicants to Graduate Programs must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or a Master's Degree from an institution whose scholastic rating is satisfactory to Clemson University. If you are uncertain whether an institution from which you received a degree is a qualifying institution, you are encouraged to consult with the program to which you intend to apply. Contact information for the various programs can be found here.

  • Following notification of acceptance, one (1) official transcript of your academic work from each previously attended institution must be mailed directly to our office
  • Graduate Admissions will NOT accept faxed copies of any transcripts as official even if faxed directly from the educational institution
  • DO NOT send Secondary (High School) transcripts or any type of certificates other than degree certificates
