Computer Engineering

MS, PhD

The Computer Engineering program offers both MS and PhD degrees. This program is a combination of computer software, hardware, systems, and applications. Areas of specialization include computer systems architecture, communication networks, digital signal processing, and intelligent systems.

Several of the department’s faculty members have recently won prestigious national and international awards and grants. The ratio of students to faculty is low, and the department prides itself on observing the Clemson tradition of close interaction among faculty and students. Enrollment is open to graduates in any branch of engineering, computer science, or applied mathematics who have an appropriate engineering and/or science background.
