Computer Science

MS, PhD

The School of Computing at Clemson offers the MS and PhD in Computer Science. Both programs are designed to produce a strong, broad-based core of advanced computer science knowledge and to encourage research in areas that reflect the student's interest. In these programs, students will gain knowledge in each of the three core areas: systems, programming languages and translators, and theory and complexity. Students can choose to focus on computer graphics, computer networks, or software engineering.

Most students find employment in the high-technology industry. Recent graduates have taken positions with DreamWorks, AT&T, Cisco, EMC, IBM, Intel, Lucent, Microsoft, Nortel, Qualcomm and Sun Microsystems.
