Financial Assistance
- All prospective PCMI applicants will be invited to tour campus to better assess the program; at the discretion of the Program Director, prospective PCMI students may receive a small financial gift to cover travel expenses.
- Graduate students may receive two types of appointments: a graduate assistantship requiring University employment, or a fellowship requiring no service to the University. Fellowships and assistantships are administered by the respective colleges or departments, and applicants should contact the major Program Coordinator for more details.
- All other forms of assistance for graduate students (assistantships, fellowships and traineeships) are coordinated through the Graduate School, but decisions regarding the awarding generally rest solely with the departments.
- Because of loan constraints, the Dean of the Graduate School reserves 10 tuition waivers annually for the PCMI Program. Each of these waivers is worth approximately $10,000. The waivers will be administered by the PCMI Program Director in consultation with the participating degree programs.
- All out-of-state Program candidates will receive in-state tuition rates.
