MPRTM, MS, PhD
The department offers a professional master's degree of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management (MPRTM), a Master of Science degree (MS), and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD). The Master should be selected by individuals who intend to enter or reenter the workplace upon completion of degree requirements. The MS is a research degree with a research thesis requirement. This degree is designed for individuals planning to undertake doctoral study or seek employment in a research-related position. The Doctor of Philosophy is an advanced research degree requiring performance of original research leading to a dissertation.
